Have you asked your player/child: Did you have fun?

Junior Cricket Registration for the 2022 / 2023 Season

Thank you for choosing to register with the Karori Junior Cricket Club. KJCC welcomes returning and new players.

Registrations for this season are now open. Use the buttons to register now!

This season we are moving to playHQ (from cricHQ) for competition management and so registration will look a little different from previous seasons.

This year there is only one registration form to fill out and you are only able to pay online by credit/debit card.

If you are unable to pay by one of these methods please contact the club by email: karorijuniorcricketclub@gmail.com.

IMPORTANT: To help match previous statistics from the cricHQ platform with the new ones your player will create through PlayHQ, you'll be asked for your old cricHQ Player ID when you complete your registration. This was sent out from NZ Cricket on 31 July. Contact clubsupport@nzc.nz if you didn't receive this.

KJCC will be hosting Registration Days on Sunday 18th and 25th September 2022 from 1pm-3pm at the Karori Rec Centre.  Feel free to come along and get answers to any questions you might have about playing in the different grades or playing cricket in Wellington. There is no need to attend if you have registered and paid on-line.

SEASON INFORMATION:

  • Fees are $110 per child for all grades except Have-A-Go (Free), Girls Year 5-8 ($50) and Year 8 ($70).
  • A family discount of 5% per child applies for 2 or more children enrolling from the same family.
  • Uniform - the club uniform is black polo shirt, black KJCC cap and white trousers (hard ball) or shorts (soft ball).  Shirts are supplied by the club and will be distributed to players at the start of the season and collected at the end of the season. New players will be provided with a cap.
  • Gear - each team will be supplied a gear bag with sufficient bats, leg pads, gloves, helmets and stumps for the team.  Players must supply any other additional personal protection (i.e. a protective box or arm guards etc).

  • Please note that if there are a significant number of junior teams playing cricket in Wellington and a shortage of pitches, there may be some Sunday play for some hardball grades in the weeks leading up to Christmas. We have requested that Cricket Wellington provide as much advance notice of these fixtures as possible. More information will be provided closer to the start of the season.
  • Have-A-Go is played on a Sunday morning from 9.30-10.30am at Karori Park.

Fields marked with * are required.
